Which way're you tryin' to remove it?
Since I dunno yet, I'll just write each way I know of that you can remove it:
1. Use the uninstall icon in the program's directory.
2. Go to Control Panel -> Change/Remove Programs and try removing it there.
3. If those fail, you can try my method: Go into the program's directory (make sure the program's not in use) and just start deleting files. Delete everything you can from the directory. There might be a few that say "This file cannot be deleted", so you might have to delete'em one by one, but most shuld be able to be deleted.
Once you delete every file you can, go back to Change/Remove Programs and try to uninstall it from there again. It should say somethin' like "Uninstall file cannot be found" or "the program might already be uninstalled, remove anyway?" Either way, just click "Yes". After you've removed it from there, go back to the directory and remove the remaining files and delete the directory.
If there're still files that can't be deleted, then restart you're computer. Once it reboots, immediatly (meaning before you start any programs) go to the directory and delete the remaining files.
That might seem like a lot to do, but it's really not too much. That should fix your problem.  |
