|
|
This week I would like to feature Eastwest Symphonic Voices. This is arguably the most comprehensive vocal library available. The reports back from my film and TV music clients here in LA give Eastwest Symphonic Voices glowing reports. The 3 mic set-ups are especially valuable to give depth to a performance and the multiple dynamics are extremely useful to re-create a natural vocal sound.
Word builder is a new feature that some have put to good use. I'm told
that it does take time to build natural sounding words and phrases,
however it certainly can be done. This lets you get killer background
vocals tracks without live singers. Of course, adding a few live voices
in the mix would simply add another dimension to the tracks.
All and all, Eastwest Symphonic Voices is a good choice for those who
need to add choirs, background voices or vocal pads to their
compositions. I think it is an essential part of a composer's tool kit.
Following is the feature set provided by Eastwest. I want to let
everyone know that the birthday sale from Eastwest has been extended now
until March 30th. You can get Eastwest Symphonic Voices from Doctor
Audio at almost 35% off while the sale lasts. ($649 for Hitsquad
readers) See http://www.doctoraudio.com/eastwest.html
